Candied fruit, also known as crystallized fruit or glac? fruit, has been around since the 14th century. They are crystallized or candied fruits and peel, and are made from real fruit pieces that have been soaked in sugar syrup which absorbs the moisture from within the fruit and eventually preserve it. They are primarily used in festive cooking such as fruit cakes, mincemeat mixes and as a key ingredient in Panettone and Cassata.

How To Use:

Glace pineapple can be used in Christmas Cakes, Celebration cakes or simply eaten and enjoyed as they are.
