Glace Green Cherries

These delicious glace green cherries are a handy pantry ingredient. They are a fun green colour, and have a sweet, slightly tart flavour. These glace cherries are non GMO. Add glace cherries to home-made ice cream and chocolate, baked goods and desserts, or use them to decorate cakes and cookies.

How To Use:

Use these glace green cherries as a decoration for topping desserts and backed treats, or include them in homemade chocolates, gelato or ice cream – perfect for cassata or tartufo.

Add some to delicious home-baked cakes and desserts, like baked Alaska, almond sponges, scones, Chelsea buns, mince tarts or classic fruit cakes. They are also wonderful in muffins, biscuits and slices, especially in Florentines or muesli bars.

Glace cherries can be a bit sticky, which can make it difficult to mix them through other ingredients. If so, simply wash the excess sugar syrup off the cherries in cold water. The cherries can then be used whole, or sliced as needed.

Cherries (47%), Sugar, Glucose and Fructose Syrup, Food Acid (330), Preservative (202, 223), Colour (102, 133). May contain Pits.

Non GMO.

This product contains Sulphites. May also contain traces of other allergens due to possible cross-contamination.

Storage:

Store in an air tight container in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Refrigeration recommended in warm climates.
