A deliciously satisfying smoothie bowl that you will love just in time for summer! This recipe features Acai Powder that adds a wonderful taste to it, much like other dark berries – but with a hint of cacao flavour. Did we mention is it also a superfood due to it being loaded in antioxidants and high in fibre.
Coconut Acai Bowl
Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp organic acai powder
- 1 Tbsp maca powder
- 1 Tbsp chia seeds
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 Tbsp of honey or maple syrup (optional for sweetness)
- 1 Tbsp cacao nibs
- 1 cup of coconut milk
- 1 cup of ice cubes
Topping
- lightly sweetened and cacao toasted coconut chips
- berries or fruit of choice
Methods
- Combine all acai bowl ingredients in a blender and blend on high until smooth. If still a little too runny, add more ice cubes.
- Pour smoothie into a bowl and top generously with toasted coconut chips and berries. Enjoy!
