A quick, energy-boosting smoothie recipe that is super delicious and full of protein. Whip this up as a quick breakfast, to add more protein to your diet or to curb your hunger as a snack.
Choc Protein Smoothie
- 1-2 tbsp of organic pea protein isolate
- 1-2 tbsp of raw organic cacao powder
- 1/4 cup of rolled oats
- 1 cup of ice
- 3/4 cup of hemp milk, almond milk or nut milk
- 1 tsp hemp seeds
- pinch of fine Celtic salt
- Blend all ingredients on high in a blender until smooth
- Add toppings and enjoy!
- For a thicker smoothie, add a frozen banana, yoghurt, or avocado.
- Want to add more crunch? add organic cacao nibs, organic chocolate milk cacao nibs or soy carob buttons and blend with other ingredients.
