How to Use
To make the Soulful daily loaf you will also need: 1 Tbsp. of Maple Syrup (or similar) , 3 Tbsp of Coconut Oil (melted), 350 ml of Water. Combine all dry ingredients from bag in a large bowl. In a separate bowl, whisk all the wet ingredients together, then add to dry ingredients. Mix until thoroughly combined (add 1-2 Tbsp. extra water if it’s too stiff to mix). Cover with a cloth & leave to rest on the bench for at least 2 hours (or overnight). Dough is ready if it holds its shape when you pull it away from the edge of bowl. Preheat oven to 175 C. Place dough into a loaf tin lined with baking paper. Bake for 20 minutes. Remove the loaf from the tin & return to the oven, upside down directly on oven rack. Bake for extra 30-40 min – until crust is a golden colour & the bread sounds hollow when you knock on it. Allow to cool slightly before slicing. Store in an air-tight container for up to 5 days, or freeze.
