How to Use
Poppy Seeds are often added to baked goods or sprinkle on top of loaves and rolls before cooking. Use them in bread, bagels, muffins, biscuit and cake recipes - including moreish flourless orange and poppy. Add poppy seeds to smoothie bowls, raw energy balls and chia puddings or nut-cheese cakes. Include some in veggie burgers or stuffing's. Poppy seeds are a great garnish and give texture and flavour to salads and hot savoury dishes. Poppy Seeds can also be ground to a coarse seed paste that is full of sweet nutty flavour and is great for using in baking and desserts. Simply grind with a mortar and pestle or a coffee grinder. A little oil or coconut cream can be added for a smooth blend.
