How to Use
Pinenuts are a delectable snack on their own or in a trail mix - combined with dried fruit and seeds. Add pinenuts to muesli, porridge, smoothies or acai bowls. Ground pinenuts are a traditional ingredient in pesto. Combine with fresh basil, a little olive oil and grated parmesan cheese (optional) in a blender to create this simple yet mouth-watering paste for pasta sauces, dips and as a spread in wraps and sandwiches. For some variety replace basil with fresh coriander or rocket leaves. Toss pinenuts - raw or lightly toasted - over salads or add to stir-fries and hotpots. Pinenuts are a delicious addition to raw energy balls or home-baked bread, muffins, cakes, biscuits and desserts. A tasty and convenient natural addition to the pantry.
