How to Use
Organic Figs are perfect for snacking on the go and are great for lunch boxes. Add them to porridge and cereals, your favourite trail mix, or use them in muesli bars and raw food recipes. Dried figs can be paired beautifully with a wide variety of delectable cheeses and look fantastic on any platter or with mixed nuts. Delicious stewed, flavoured with anise, fennel, and cinnamon; added to compote or with natural yoghurt. For cooking or baking, dried figs can be soaked in boiling water or lightly steamed to reconstitute. They are excellent chopped with nuts and spices in fruit bread, or in muffin and cake recipes. Include figs in preserves and pickles, curries and hotpots.
