How to Use
Lecithin can be used in breakfast dishes; add 1-2 tsps. to smoothies or sprinkle over natural yoghurt, fruit salad, muesli, porridge and acai bowls. Or add some to soups and savoury dishes before serving. Soy Lecithin is often used as an emulsifier in foods, assisting oils and water to combine smoothly. For this reason it is a popular addition to confectionary and baked goods. Combine a few teaspoons of lecithin, until dissolved, with the liquids in a bread mix for a loaf with a smooth texture. Can also be used in cakes, muffins and home-made chocolate, caramel and confectionery. It works well to combine ice cream recipes, and is particularly good in recipes made with nut or grain mylk.
