How to Use
This multi-purpose Castile soap can be used as a hand and body wash. Dispense in a soap pump container for hand washing. In the bath and shower, apply to loofah or cloth and lather up. It is suitable as is, if an unscented product is required, or combine with your favourite essential oils. Stir 10-20 drops of your preferred essential oil to 100 mls of castile soap and stir well until combined. Oils can be selected for their aroma, cleaning qualities, healing benefits or antibacterial and antimicrobial properties. To thicken this soap base just add a little table salt. Liquid Castile soap is also as a versatile household cleaner that is great for kitchen and bathroom surfaces and appliances, dishwashing, hard floors and carpets, hand and machine washing for clothes, windows and cars. It can be used in conjunction with homemade cleaning recipes with white vinegar, washing soda, borax, bi-carb soda or essential oils. Natural Castile soap is ideal for use in the garden as a non-toxic wetting agent and base for bug sprays. Try combining 20 mls of liquid soap with 1 litre of warm water. Add ½-1 tsp of crushed garlic or cayenne pepper for insects, or 10 mls of vinegar to tackle powdery mildew.
